Free junior golfing event planned
Junior golfers of all abilities are invited to attend the second annual Riley Olson Junior Golf Day on Aug. 7 at Hiland Golf Club.
Golfers from ages 7-15 are welcome. The event will include two sessions, one for junior golfers with limited or no golfing experience and a second session for junior golfers who have either played golf before or have a basic understanding of the game. Both sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be coordinated by members of The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ College Golf Team.
The event honors Riley Olson, who graduated from Queensbury High School in 2011. While a student at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½, Olson passed away from an accident.
