Admissions process
We know you have a lot of choices and selecting a college is a big decision. The Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ College Access team is eager to answer any questions you have about the college. We encourage you to visit campus, chat with an advisor and attend on-campus events.
College Access and Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ is open for drop-in assistance from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Staff members are also available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Thursday (except holidays and weather closures) via .
The application process
- Complete a . This application is free and easy to fill out.
- As part of your application, you need to submit an official high school transcript. Transcripts can be emailed directly from your high school to admission@sunyacc.edu or faxed to 518-832-7602. College Access also accepts GED/TASC test scores. (If you are a transfer student, submit an official college transcript for any schools attended to the Registrar's Office.)
- Apply for Financial Aid.
- Once accepted, you will receive an acceptance packet with your next steps. (Hint: Sign up for a Placement Test ASAP, so you can attend an Accepted Student Day!) Accepted Student Day is a priority to set you up for success through orientation and registering for classes.
- If you would like to live on campus, apply for Housing.
- Submit your immunization records to the Registrar's Office.

- Fall 2026: Aug. 24, 2026 (Students must register for classes by Sept. 8.)
Returning to college as an adult?
If you are ages 25 to 55 years old and do not yet have a college degree, you might qualify for SUNY Reconnect, which covers tuition, fees, books and supplies for an eligible associate degree at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½.
